Autohistory of On Natural Order

As one will discover below, the press release for On Natural Order and a link to purchase a copy will be at the bottom of the essay. The focus of the essay, however, is to delve into the short autobiography mentioned at the bookends; the lore, truly, runs deep. The intellectual autohistory of His Scholastic Magistrate Caenan Perez (explaination for this self-anointed title will be in the Lyceum University Syllabus) will begin with his discovery of the great radical Austrian libertarian school of thought. Always having extreme libertarian philosophy, a steadfast faith in the Trinitarian God and the Catholic Church, and always a traditionalist in manner and education, Perez would discover the polymath nobleman Ludwig von Mises’ masterpiece Human Action in 2019 at the age of 15, urged by his parents. Through von Mises, Perez would adhere to the praxeological defense of laissez-faire capitalism as well as Murray Rothbard and Hans-Hermann Hoppe’s argumentation ethics and radical natural law-rights theories with a close and rigoristic reflection upon their magnificent works in The Ethics of Liberty, A Theory of Socialism and Capitalism, The Economics and Ethics of Private Property, Democracy: The God That Failed, Man Economy and State with Power and Market, and An Austrian Perspective on the History of Economic Thought. Referring to himself as a “radical capitalist libertarian” and a “radical rightist”, Perez grew to be a far more rigoristic and disciplined opposer of leftist thought, from Babeuf and de Sade to Marx, Hitler, Lassalle, Owen, and the Fabians. Through these great radical Austrian libertarians, Perez would imbue himself in the work of another polymath nobleman in Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, who would provide him the basis of his theory of ontological vertical diversity based upon the dictum, followed by Rothbard and Hoppe, “the right is right, and the left is wrong”. As well, von Kuehnelt-Leddihn would inform Perez of his theistic existentialism, which would serve as his metaphysical program that he would synthesize with radical capitalist libertarianism. Perez refers to these men as “The Four Noblemen of the School of Right”, using their intellectual aristos as the basis and starting point of the intellectual aristocracy established within the Lyceum University. Perez is also informed by an eclectic array of thinkers and historical figures, such as St. Thomas Aquinas, Immanuel Kant, Lord Acton, Alexis de Tocqueville, Francisco de Vitoria, Luis de Molina, Francisco Suarez, Hugo Grotius, St. Ignatius of Loyola, Antonio Oliveira de Salazar, Englebert Dollfuss, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, the various anarchists and Carlists of Spain, the Russian literary giants in Dostoevsky and Tolstoy, the English Recusant culture, and others that would be too laborious to list here. The works of these men are collected in a personal library owned by Perez, which he intends on expanding as much as possible through persistent collection of the works crrated by the Great Minds. There exists physical and digital volumes in his personal library. On top of being a philosopher of ethics, epistemology, praxeology in general and economics in particular, jurisprudence (law and rights), politics, logic, ontology, theology through existentialism, culture, literature, aesthetics and history/historiography, Perez has become a poet and is looking to also become a novelist. Although a recent development, the themes of his poetry reflect his synthesis of deontological apriorist libertarianism with theistic existentialism and Catholic piety. He has also composed poetry for his parents, in celebration of his household and lineage.
Lore will be updated as the chronology progresses
Press Release
Full press release text: Fulton Books author Caenan Perez, a nineteen-year-old independent philosopher and writer who has learned his disciplines through a personal library, has completed his most recent book “On Natural Order: Philosophic Reflections on Right Libertarian Reality, in the Context of Theological Existence”: a fascinating exploration of the author’s libertarian, scholastic, and continental philosophical synthesis rooted in the Catholic faith and inspired by the works of Hans-Hermann Hoppe, Murray Rothbard, Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, and Ludwig von Mises. “The following treatise is the culmination of independent scholarship within the liberal arts,” writes Perez. “Through a philosophical and interdisciplinary scope and style, the work is a contribution of original ideas to the grand philosophical system of liberty with a remarkably uncompromising radicalism. Libertarian, Catholic, scholastic, and continental in character, the work is a thorough break and critique of all the vices of collective order. The work defends libertarian philosophy as understood by Murray Rothbard and Hans-Hermann Hoppe and synthesizes their argumentative natural rights theories with the libertarian theology of Orthodox, Catholic, Christianity, and the liberal arts curriculum of the Western tradition. The grand synthesis is known as the natural order or the ‘order of libertarian justice.’” Published by Fulton Books, Caenan Perez’s book is a groundbreaking exploration at the intersectionality of philosophy, faith, and political thought that will challenge prevailing belief systems and invite readers to embark on their own journey for deeper understanding and enlightenment. Drawing upon years of personal research and reflection, “On Natural Order” navigates the complex terrain of philosophy and faith, offering readers a roadmap to navigate a path towards a future guided by reason, virtue, and faith.
